Hope my post was not misleading as I would never recommend blasting a cylinder head👍

Block off plates just to show how over the top I will go to keep debris out of intake and exhaust rather than stuffing a rag into a port.

Can’t really block of the valves on a head when removed.

The turbo mount was blocked off with a fitting on one piece and aluminum plates like you see on my intake. Sealed with sealant as well.

I am trying to convince work to get a vapor blaster which would be ideal and does not warp thin parts.

So the rotor screws really suck to remove when they are sitting in a car for 20 years.

Left hand drill bit.
Irwin extractor
Proto extractor
Heat gun
Cold spray

Most important is endless profanity directed at the part until broken piece extracted. PM me if you want to know what words work best.
The more offending the better as it scares the part into submission 🫢😉

its important to learn to swear in German, other wise the parts will ignore you.

I found a great list but even though the English translations are sanitized I'd probably still have to ban myself.

Then again, the German versions look pretty harmless.....

OK, whatever happened to the effort to make an intake manifold for the 2V or 4V with AT Power throttle bodies? Jason, did Fidelity ever cut chips? Tom, can you scan an existing intake since files to 3D print don't seem to exist.

Is there still interest in this??

They are scanned and in a file ready to be made.
I have been focused on other projects lately.

I will send you a copy if you like.

I am going to send a text right now to Fidelity

Getting back to the Porsche stuff now I have Soloracer’s brand new block at my house

I will keep you posted.

I just got off the phone right with Joe at Fidelity Machine.

It’s being 3D printed right now.

Will post pics when done.

He was going to CNC it out of Aluminum but I thought it might be best to 3D print it to test fit first.

I might be able to use Soloracer’s 968 turbo to verify fitting it to a 16V head.

Trying to find a 16V head in Canada other than a new one from Porsche has been impossible.

Michael I can potentially ship one to you for test fit if Soloracer’s car is not available.

Yep, test fitting is surely worth the effort. Best if done in your neck of the woods, but I do have a 4V head here. Let me know. I’d love to see the ports too.

We made the port shape change you sent me in the past so that is incorporated.

I will very likely end up getting a head from you.

Definitely will keep updating here.
