ITB's
So, in a few weeks i'll be installing a revamped ignition and fuel system with ITB's, wiring and ECU. This got me thinking what everyone else is running. Anyone carried out the same on their S2 or similar? ITB, supercharged or anything else interesting?

Very cool project, though it seems to have trailed off a few years ago. I was amused to see Carpokeans sidestep RL's link restrictions to point back to our own --way bigger and better944er wrote: Thu Jun 18, 2026 7:08 am There's been a thread going on for over three years on rennlist.

Thanks. Seen that a while back when researching. Thought I'd introduce a post here. On the big forum944er wrote: Thu Jun 18, 2026 7:08 am There's been a thread going on for over three years on rennlist.

I would love to eventually put ITBs or a double carb situation on my 8v, but waiting for a proven kit... Although, ever since I saw this carb-into-turbo conversion on a Mustang inline 6, maybe there is something there that simplifies the whole turbo setup on a 944
Now that looks interesting!spacecad3t wrote: Thu Jun 18, 2026 8:22 am I would love to eventually put ITBs or a double carb situation on my 8v, but waiting for a proven kit... Right? Could you imagine a custom intake for the 944 that maintains the existing Turbo position and exhaust setup, but instead of the EFI intake, you have a 2 barrel straight into it?Outlaw944 wrote: Sun Jun 28, 2026 2:25 pmNow that looks interesting!spacecad3t wrote: Thu Jun 18, 2026 8:22 am I would love to eventually put ITBs or a double carb situation on my 8v, but waiting for a proven kit...
