One-week update: The engine is running great. It idles smoothly, revs quickly, and is surprisingly quiet. The new engine mounts made a huge improvement in overall driving quality, and even the A/C is working again. I’ve run into a new issue with the cooling system, which I’ll cover in a separate topic.
