My 2024 Cayenne S e-Hybrid had the frequent CarPlay failure problem at first. I haven't had the problem in quite a while, definitely not since the big software update. Until yesterday. My first hint was that my clock initialized at 12:00pm (it was late in the afternoon). Eventually the clock sync'd properly, but CarPlay and, in fact, all bluetooth was not working. In the past, I typically just had to shut down the car, let it sit a bit, then CarPlay would start up again. Not this time. I ended up dropping the phone from the car, dropping the car from the phone, and reconnecting. Ultimately I had to plug the phone into the car to get wireless CarPlay to start. Today it connected fine.

However, my My Porsche app has been unable to get any info from the car since 8:20pm (CST) last night.

Also, I occasionally have all of my camera-based systems panic and shut down. Typically it seems a combination of dirty windshield and low evening sunlight.

There is a recall regarding the software of certain 2019-2025 Cayenne, Taycan, 911 & Panamera reversing cameras not working as they should. I received my Safety Recall letters (two) dated Feb 13th last week.

Also, there is a an unannounced (as of last week) TSB software fix for some of the PCM issues many are getting in their Cayennes. (The issue is not yet a campaign.) Our Cayenne's PCM is having a few different anomalies that continue to pop up and remain unresolved.

Technology. Software. Digital Systems. Brave New World indeed!

I still have not had any data update to the My Porsche app, and Porsche Connect services are still not working, since 8:20pm on 2/25. Anyone else have the same issue? Trying to determine whether it is Porsche servers are down or my vehicle has stopped communicating.

If it's the latter, what would I do to re-establish communication?

Answered my own question. I went into the settings in PCM to privacy and Connect, flipped the flag for non-location based sharing to Inactive, then back to Active. A minute or so later, fresh data showed up on my phone.
