Hi all,

Did the spring tensioner have multiple variations? The one I have doesn't have the holes for the spanner tool. It's not easy getting good leverage with the spanner tool in the slots it does have, I ended up breaking a pin off the tool trying.

I was able to adjust by pressing counter clockwise on the roller bolt using a socket and wrench, is this ok? Could it potentially loosen the bolt by doing so.

Thanks

i've always used the nut on the roller to back the tension off during assembly/disassembly. Yes, use a little care to avoid loosening the bolt, or at least make sure it's gutentite before the tensioner is installed. No special tools required.
