Why not just give the factory switch a pre-frontal lobotomy and make it stay wherever selected?

I have re-programmed (aka, "coded") numerous bits on my Cayman, and one of the first was to have the car remember the last state of console buttons, especially the Auto-Start/Stop button. Unfortunately, I (and others) have found that it doesn't remember ALL of the button states, only a few. Notably, it does remember A-S/S and PASM, but not others like PSM or PSE. So unless you can find a different place to edit code than what I and others have found, the Sport Exhaust can't be coded to remember last state. Hence the reason for this part.
