Rebuilding front hubs - question on re-installing bearings

Hi there, I also have a 1988 944 turbo S and replaced my front wheel bearings about 4 years ago. I was going to do them myself because, like many here, we all enjoy maintaining these incredible machines. What led me to not do it myself in this case was that 951S front hubs are hard to find and expensive if I muck it up. Downside risk so to speak.

I found a local shop that dropped them into a heated parts cleaner (I think), the races deopped out and the new room temperature races dropped right in. $25 charge because there was essentially no labor.

Worked brilliantly and I left a big tip for the guys.
