718 gt4 tire /wheel size recommendations
Hi everyone! I know this topic has been discussed ad nauseam but I figured I’d see what recommendations folks have here. I just recently got into a 718 gt4 coming from a stock lotus evora gt. My current DE skill level and experience is running in intermediate run groups with cup 2 tires. I am trying to figure out what tire sizes to go with . I purchased a used set of apex sm-10 wheels in 19x9 and 19x11. Was initially thinking to run 365 fronts 305 rears but open to other recommendations. Ive read that 255/285 is also a popular set up which may necessitate getting 19x10.5 wheels for the rears. Being new to the car, I want to keep the balance as neutral as possible to be able to learn the car without getting into too much trouble . I’m thinking of sticking with 200 tw tires to offer the most feedback. Im also open to doing basic suspension upgrades to dial in more negative camber and give more stability. Also the car will be a weekend toy with just 8-10 track days per year, so I’m thinking -2.5 camber front , -2 rear would be a good starting point. Thanks in advance !

Welcome to Carpokes!
There is quite a bit of discussion regarding tires, suspension, alignment, brakes, and whatnot for 718s in the "718 Boxsters and Caymans" sub-forum, including the lengthy catch-all topic "What did you do with your 718 this week?
https://www.carpokes.com/viewtopic.php?t=1733
A ton of other stuff in that thread that is really good, but to your specific questions, several have done done upgrades that you're asking about. You can search within that topic (or other topics in the 718 Carpokes sub-forum) for tires or wheels or suspension for instance and find some nuggets from various track rat types who inhabit Carpokes.
Use the "Search this topic..." box at the top left of the thread. (Could then further drill down by using the "Search these results" box that pops up after the results from "search topic".
I've done a bit of that for you here which should help a bit to see what some of us have done:

Another good source is to view the fitment guide at the bottom of the Apexwheels.com site. I have found them quite useful with my past cars ( Mustangs of various sorts ) and they have been very helpful with my Cayman GTS . I currently have both 18 inch and 19 inch wheels and the 19s you have are the correct size I see on most of my friends with GT4s. More camber is a big key on fitment, and blueline has been running his GT4 for quite awhile so do check out all his data. I know 305s will fit on the rear since two of the guys in our Club run those, but everyone has done things for more camber front and rear.
And welcome, always good to have another Porsche Pavement Pilot on board!
