Jason,
When you put that oil pump back together, make sure the outer gyro gear has the dot facing up. In your initial photo it's upside down.
Here's another trick I use: Coat the internal pump parts with Lubriplate Engine Assembly grease. It will cause the pump to easily pull the oil from the pan and give you oil pressure quickly.

Jason, I read this thread and saw your reference to Tech Line coatings, clicked the link and went there an saw they have exhaust system coatings and after just reading the Turbo Blanket thread, it stuck me Tech Line coatings might have an application for turbo housings to keep the heat in the turbo. Have you had any experience with them along these lines?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Back in 2010 I used a local company.
The exhaust ceramic has held up very well.
I didn’t do the hot side of turbo at the time.
Anything new it would work well. Especially the inner side of the turbo to keep the heat away from the center housing. Much different than a blanket since it can’t protect the inside.
I also like Calico coatings.

Ceramic coating worked great on my exhaust, definitely worth looking into.
