Fuel pump runs as always before and after start attempt (~2 sec).
Testing in Tunerstudio works as it should (pulses count down, etc.) but nothing on noid light.
Woohoo - Its alive, BUT...

Will do that this evening and report back.
If the pump primes and runs for a couple of seconds after failed start, is there a chance that the DME relay would cease to power the pump during cranking?
Mine is wired so that the DME stage 1 output triggers a relay/fuse panel that enables all of the new engine electronics, coils and injectors with ignition. The cranking action sends a signal back to the DME to activate the second stage which is the fuel pump....ok I may have just answered my own question....
I can also post a log and the tune file if that helps anyone.

Have you used your noid lights on this engine management in the past? I've never had a lot of luck with noid lights on a standard 944/951. I'd probably confirm the no-injector-pulse thing with corroborating evidence (pull a plug look/smell for fuel, etc.) before ruling out other no-start issues. Have you checked for spark?

Ok some updates and I stand corrected.
So I used the jumper and no change so went back to the light again.
So I DO have a signal on the inj2 channel in test mode. It is just pretty faint/dim.
But - I can’t change the test mode channel to inj1 to test the other pair. I get an error saying can’t burn page 3, and the program shuts down.
Any ideas? I may have a bad connection somewhere but cannot verify now.

Do you have spark? That will tell you if you if the ECU is getting a pulse...

Will the two channels of spark operate independently? In other words will inj1 fire only if ign1 sees a signal?
Apparently ign2 and inj2 are working fine.

Ok - back running. I did check all of the spark plug connections and all seemed well.
Cranked the engine and it fired as it had been, then my bag I had over the idle air valve hose blew out at a seam and it started running much better - albeit at a higher idle. Was able to adjust VE table values down to bring it back down.
Seems to be running a bit smoother now. Will try to address exhaust leaks when I pull the crossover to addresss oil pan - ugh!
Thanks all for all of help and support!

Well back to my no start issue to verify re-sealing of oil pan.
For you guys using MS and tunerstudio, are your kpa values consistent between tables (e.g is 100 kpa always the xth line down from top and are your increments the same for VE, AFR, etc.?
I know the values will max out differently depending on how far you boost (over 100), but for those of us with stock turbos, is there a recommendation for fuel load kpa, etc.
