Raising your Boxster on Race Ramp Cribs
Let me clarify. Race Ramps is the company name, not the product of which I'm speaking - but they do also make "ramps" as you describe. They make a product that is similar to flat-spot tire cradles, but they are elevated. They call them Cribs. So, you jack up the car, slide the "Crib" under the wheel, and voila, the car is elevated on a very secure platform. They come in sizes from eight to 12 inches and in two configurations of a single platform and a split platform that allows you to raise half the overall height and then jack the car up further, insert the second tier platform and have the car at full height. I just purchased the 12 inch in the two platform set. I'll do a brief write up after they arrive and I try them out. Thank, Bob
