My 924 had an in-tank pump along with the external one. I replaced the external with one for a 944 and eliminated the internal pump and screen and put an inline filter before the pump. I don't have to worry about draining the tank to replace that screen and a simple clamping of the line is all that's needed to change the new inline. Also a lot cheaper than those screens.
