718 GTS 4.0 warranty items
I am curious to hear of any warranty issues with your new GTS. I took delivery 4 weeks ago and the passenger rear tail light lens allows water in, causing a fogged lens with very little water applied. Driver side has no issue. So far that is the only problem that I have.

Tom I did not see that, thank you for posting. I can tell you mine is more severe than that. Mine stays fogged up for 2 or 3 days after washing or rain. I went by the dealer the other day to show them. They said Porsche is very picky about condensation in light lenses. He said they would keep the car for a few days and take time and date stamped photos to show to Porsche. The left side and never shown ANY condensation. Ray Charles could see that we have a problem. I scheduled to take it in. My previous Porsches had condensation, but nothing nearly as severe as what I have now.

Well, it's no big deal but I had my engine replaced under warranty. All of 3100 miles when the oil pump quit. Follow the thread under "engine failure."

Update.........dealer is replacing the tail light assemble today. I also got a check engine light the other day, "Engine Control Fault, okay to drive". Turned out to be passenger side engine cooling fan. They put me in a new Panamera as a loaner.

I assume the two are unrelated? Happy to hear they replaced the foggy lens. That's only right in my book. Nice loaner. I always get a base Macan....Southbama wrote: Thu Jan 20, 2022 8:53 am Update.........dealer is replacing the tail light assemble today. I had the same thing happen to me the other day. Left it overnight and it still popped up. Drove it to the dealer, shut the engine down and it disappeared. They did a diagnostic on it and said one of the fans had a fault but was running fine so they left it alone.Southbama wrote: Thu Jan 20, 2022 8:53 am Update.........dealer is replacing the tail light assemble today.
