The track car is heading out for cage work so I thought I would weight it just for fun.
Need to add cage, transmission, front clip (fiberglass), windshield and Kenan hatch and wing. Also exhaust system(cat back).
I’m liking the result of stripping weight!!!

So, I like going out on limbs - another (edit) 450 to 500 lbs without fuel? (Probably way off but I tried!)

Will you have to add weight to corner balance once it's complete?

I was thinking 400-450 more weight, biased toward the rear (transmission).
corner balancing doesn't mean the same front/rear - just the same side to side with the driver on board. changing the spring seat height will get that done.
2200 lbs with 500rwhp will do just fine!

at least 20 years - those are the 'roll around & trailering' wheels/tires!

I have no doubt that you will accomplish that goal.

Who’s doing the cage? What are you doing for design?

I just dropped my car off to be caged and always curious to see others designs.

I assume that tank in the right front is for dry sump? What size is that?
