Classic and quite beautiful, I love the brown/tan leathers. My first sports car, a 1970 240Z, had brown, naugahyde of course. My 981 was Espresso, and my 718 is Espresso/Cognac. Wife's 540i is full Cognac, same color and same name.

'86 944 Turbo, fast! Stone grey

@Larry C

Larry - lots of good info and discussion for potential 718 buyers in this thread, so I'm moving it to the "718..." sub as well.

I've been going through old posts just to see what I've missed and/or forgotten (lots of that) and am moving a few topics if they are still active or potentially so. :D

1. Ventilated seats - some say they are a “must have” option while others have stated that the seats are firmer than the non ventilated ones and collect a lot of dirt in the holes.
2. Upper dash leather trim - this is an expensive option that I’m not sure is worth the $$$.
Thanks!
My GTS 4.0 Boxster has ventilated seats. But not cooled seats. Works fine for me. My last Box had this also. I never noticed any dirt or anything. I live in central Florida and have owned it for a year now. I also ordered leather everything. I think it gives a more luxurious look and feel. And I really don't like Alcantara. But that's me.

Neat car, though.

I'm not sure I understand your post, "ventilated but nor cooled," to my knowledge Porsche doesn't offer cooled seats, and just to clarify,nthe ventilated seats such air down into the seat, they don't blow out. I considered the option, but passed on it due to the weight and the possibility of the holes getting clogged.

Hi Bill - I did some "structural" maintenance on your post above so that it would display as intended. :angel:

I also connected an Ottocast U2-X Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto 2 in 1 Adapter to allow me to use Android Auto/Google Maps from my phone. IMO, the nav system installed the the Box is a POS. Like using a 10 year old Garmin.

The GTS in my garage has perforated seats. The seats are heated, but not cooled. Cooled seats was an item within an option group that I didn't want. My last Box, 2006 S also had the perforated seats but not cooled. Worked fine. I never noticed any accumulation of dirt in the perfs. But that's me.
