I'm hoping to start a thread to serve as a reference for PTS shoppers. Rennbow is great, but more pictures would be better. If we can enough pictures, I'll add a reference list here in the first post to make it easier to find the colors you want to see. Please post the Porsche name of the color and -- if you know it -- the paint code. Let's see those PTS cars!

p.s., I think it's fair to include special color options (Shark Blue, etc.) since today's special colors are often tomorrow's PTS colors...

I saw a new pts 911 at Marin Porsche last month that was in Azzuro thetys Metalic. Since my 951 is in the paint shop I decided I wanted that color instead of going back to the original 1986 sapphire (bluish silver but not far off the the azzuro thetys).
They gave me the Porsche pts ordering code but that didn’t show up anywhere in the usual paint codes since it’s only been in the pts list for about a year.
After one random google, it turns out that this is a standard lambo color they came out about 15 years ago with a BASF paint code, so my odds of actually getting it from a standard source are a lot higher. I haven’t confirmed it yet,
but the moral of the story - if you are respraying and want a pts color, you might find a pts color in another Volkswagen brands color history.

Here's my 18 Viper Green (sometimes known as Kelly Green) GT3. I ordered the car in July 2017, production was pushed a couple times from November of 2017 and was finally built in February 2018. Took PEC delivery in Atlanta, and drove it back to MD via the GA/NC/VA mountain roads.

Since I ordered the 991.2 GT3 was announced in Lizard Green, and then Python green was introduced. I'm still in love with the Viper and the ties to the early 70's.
