Hey everyone! Saw the ad in Panorama magazine and figured I'd check this place out.

It wasn't on purpose but funny how it worked out that the only two Porsches I purchased turned out to be to be from the same family 25 years apart, with a first generation 986 and last generation (ICE, at least) 982. Here's to 25 years with the GT4 as well! 8-)

@arne welcome to Carpokes. I also live in Los Angeles; in Westwood near UCLA. I’ve been driving German cars since 1977, but my 2022 Cayman GTS 4.0 is my first Porsche! Do you attend any of the PCA driving events? My wife and I are planning to attend the Malibu PCA breakfast next weekend.
Thanks,
Larry

Thanks for the welcome! I hear you, my other cars have been Audis for the last 20+ years too. My daily is a 2018 TT RS

I attended a PCA LA event back in 2016 and haven't since. I'm doing the fun run this weekend to get back into. I've got a former coworker who does a bunch of PCA events and wanted to link up with him too. I won't be around for the breakfast unfortunately. Maybe there's another one in the future!

My last car was a 2019 Audi RS3 :). I wish I had room for the Audi and the GTS 4.0. I sold the RS3 for more than I bought it for - best DD ever! It had a Stage 1 APR tune. It was scary fast.
