My little DC tire pump died this morning. I've used it for quite a while.

Any recommendation for a replacement? I'd like something that plugs into the lighter. I have 120vac-12 VDC adaptors. And I don't want to dig out the one from the car every time I check the tires

grazie

Not sure how big you want to go nor what size your previous pump was.

From another Carpokes discussion last year:

It's not cheap but it's quite good. Maybe too big for what you're looking for?

I saw that this morning. I am a sucker for DeWalt tools. My previous pump was about half that size.

If you decide to get the DeWalt, might consider a carrying case. I bought this one - it's handy and practical for transporting and storing. I like it.

There's also a diff one now listed below the current DeWalt compressor page at Amazon.

Might as well spend some more $$$ :D

Update on the Dewalt air pump I purchased: I have used it a bunch, it is so convenient and easy. Wish I did it sooner.

Is this the Porsche factory supplied pump in the compartment under the hood? Never used it yet but should verify that it works.

Great price! I have seen units similar to those. Enter the PSI and it'll stop at that point.

I was just wondering how reliable the factory pump is in my GTS. I'll pull it out and pump up a tire to confirm since it is 9 years old and has never been used.
