I got my 991 in Lava ( still have it) in 2015 at the factory and went to an event in Zell am See, and Dr Wolfgang Porsche kindly signed it. After my traditional week at the Nürburgring I drove up to Hamburg to the Museum Prototype where the founders allowed me to bring the car in and photograph it with the 1939 Typ 64.

My personal favorite "rare color" is from the 1960's...."Leaf Green". Also, there is "Olive Green", from the same era.

BUT, as a famous frog once said..."it isn't easy being Green..."
Saw my 1st Porsche, in 1962, at age 11, whilst riding with Dad in his VW, in Tucson, AZ.
Love at 1st sight.... :shifty: Now, 35 Porsches later.....what can I say.

My 1987 928 S4 is Felsen Grun Metallic or Granite Green Metallic. Bought it because of the color only offered on 928s in 1987. One of my favorites. Rennbow rates it at four pails. Sorry, I'll post pics later.

I ordered my Cayman in Chalk as it was supposed to be discontinued and I liked the idea of a fairly rare color. Hmmm, the Deutschland Design Dudes decided das ist eine gute color and they are still spraying away in Chalk so not so rare after all. I love the look anyway and it appears clean regardless of how dirty it really is.

Azzuro thetys metallic pts was borrowed from the lambo pallette for a couple of years recently but appears nla. Rennbow seems to show more resprays like mine in that color than originals.
This week I went back to Rennbow to see my listing - oddly it disappeared (for the 2nd time!). They guys that manage those pages were super responsive and put up my new picture in minutes. I noticed a few other older Porsches with my color of respray were also no longer there.
So - if you've posted pics to Rennbow, might want to double check to see if they are still up....
