The first thing I do on new Porsches is remove those factory paint guards on the qtr panels (cheap PPF) in front of the rear wheels. I get them replaced with good PPF with decent protection. Glad you were able to get it sorted to your satisfaction.

I'm also dealing with a replacement windshield (Cayenne). Hugely expensive any more but what's worse is the mind-numbing process dealing with the insurance company these days. (They've farmed claim process to 3rd party admin. What a joke.)
