Anyone experiencing a rattle in rear of 911 992? I had a 2023 brand new and while driving at low rpm and then apply load there is a rattle in rear. Sounds like exhaust tips hitting body. I have now purchased a 2024 S and same exact noise exists. It is more apparent while in Normal mode vs Sport mode but once your ear is in tune you can still hear it. My thought is that the air to fuel mix is so low to obtain max MPG that the car is starving and causing it to vibrate, hence the rattle. Anyone else experience this?

Is it kind of a soft/dull jingle bells sound? The 992 makes a sound at low loads. I thought there was something wrong with my car at first. When all warmed up, I can induce it by keeping it in gear with my foot on the brake, then taking my foot off the brake to apply a light load to the transmission. My dealer said it was normal for the 922 but I wasn't convinced until I went to a Porsche event and heard all the other 992's make the same noise. You may be hearing something else -- rattling heat shield maybe -- but if it is a light jingle bells sound, it may be this.

P.s. Welcome to Carpokes!

I hate rattles/buzzing and that is exactly why I do not own a vehicle from the big-three.

Same on my 991.1 drivers door panel. It only happens at a certain temperature and in my case it is so infrequent, I never bothered with it.

Thanks for the info and RMD for the TSB bulletin.
