How hard is it to replace that with the heater Plenum in the car?

Depends on your size and age :) You just need to get yourself in position to see and reach up behind the driver side of the center stack. No tools or disassembly needed, just some entry-level contortionist skills.... :)

ok good to know. Sounds like something I'd be in on my back for and developing a cramp in my calf doing. LOL Maybe taking the driver's side seat out would be a good option? Mine seems ok for now, but asking in case I need to fix one of these in the future. Sounds like it is inevitable...
