Re: Help me pick a clutch/flywheel

Well, I have a KEP Stage 1 on the way to me now :). I have a lightly used 930 disc also so I think I'm probably going to go with that combo. Still undecided on the flywheel but I am leaning the direction of just cleaning up the stock one and calling it good. Thanks for all the input!!

Re: Help me pick a clutch/flywheel

I'm a broken record on this subject, but tried a number of clutch and PP combos on my car and the KEP1 PP with 951 cup disk (or 930 disk) is head and shoulders above the rest. It's the only combo I tried that has factory smooth engagement, while still holding 500+hp. Everything else shuddered or je...

Re: Help me pick a clutch/flywheel

I have that setup but with the metallic disk. It easily held 450ft/lbs of torque. It is however a heavier pedal. I also have a kep1 and 930 disk. Also the Sachs setup from Zims with a cup disc. I would try the Kep1 with 930 disc or cup disc to have a nice pedal feel. I should easily hold that power...

Help me pick a clutch/flywheel

Hi All, I find myself in a rather unique position (for me) where I have the entire drivetrain out of my 951 and I need to make a decision on what to do about the clutch and flywheel while I have it out. Here are the facts: 1. It makes good power. Hacky calculations based on logs from the VEMS tells ...

Renline adjustable engine mounts review?

I'm looking at these engine mounts and would love an owner's review if anyone here has used them.

I have the semi active suspension on my Multistrada too.. I'd love an option like that for the 951..

Re: Let's talk about road suspension

Proper valving with the ability to handle high freq and low freq differently is the most important. Single adj is fine. They can be upgraded later. I have Ohlins on my Audi for the street and I never adjust them. mostly set to full soft. Lol. My KW's are set to the factory default and I've never fe...

Re: Let's talk about road suspension

If you're in the KWv3 price range, you can also consider MCS and Intrax. I had completely forgotten about MCS, I'll have to look into them. I have a full front/rear set of MCS double adjustable... but I haven't installed them yet. I've attached a couple of pictures of the struts to show they now co...

Re: Let's talk about road suspension

@crackership What size wheels and tires does your 951 have? This is a huge determinant of ride quality. So many of the modern Porsche and especially BMW cars/SUVs that I work on for a living have horrendous ride quality, largely due to huge, heavy wheels with very thin tire sidewalls (especially in...
